WNAM MONITORING: Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $455.5 million from January to May 2024, according to a report by the State Committee on Statistics of Uzbekistan.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported Turkmen products worth $407.5 million. In the same period, the country’s exports to Turkmenistan totaled $48 million.
Uzbekistan’s total foreign trade turnover for the corresponding period reached $26.7 billion, increasing by $769.5 million, or 3.0 percent, compared to the same period in 2023.
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in January-April 2024 was $288 million.
