WNAM MONITORING: During the talk, Head of State of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the entire Russian people over the victims as a result of the terror attacks in Dagestan.
The Kazakh leader stressed that Kazakhstan strongly condemns any forms of violence against the well-being of peaceful citizens, considering them as a serious threat to regional and international security.
The sides noted the importance of continuing close interaction in the fight against terrorism and extremism as well as consolidating efforts within influential international organizations.
The Presidents also exchanged views on issues of further promoting Kazakh-Russian relations of strategic partnership and alliance as well as discussed the agenda of the upcoming SCO Summit in Astana.
