WNAM MONITORING: Uzbekistan’s athletes have successfully started judo competitions within the framework of the Children of Asia International Sports Games in Yakutsk.
Five athletes from Uzbekistan became the winners on the first day. In particular, Khushnud Sultonov (-46 kg), Khushnud Burkhonov (-50 kg), and Muhammadkarim Nozirov (-55 kg) defeated all their rivals in their weight categories and became gold medalists.
Dinara Khasanova (-40 kg) also won a silver, and Dilnoza Khamidova (-44 kg) – bronze medals.
Thus, the Uzbekistan national team won 31 medals (11 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze medals).
