WNAM REPORT: Negotiations were held between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the General-Secretary of the United Nations Antonio Guterres during his visit to Turkmenistan.
The meeting opened a new page in the history of bilateral relations.
During the meetings in a narrow format and in an expanded format with the participation of members of the delegations, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and UN General-Secretary Antonio Guterres discussed issues of developing partnership in various areas.
As is known, the comprehensive development and strengthening of multifaceted partnership with the UN is one of the key vectors of the foreign policy of sovereign Turkmenistan, which is invariably committed to the principles of openness, peacefulness and active international cooperation in the common interests.
