WNAM REPORT: A meeting was held at the Board of Audit of Japan with Commissioner Yuhei Harada. The current state and prospects of bilateral relations were discussed, and an introduction was made to the rich history of Japan in financial control and the application of international auditing standards. Issues of expanding cooperation between the Board of Audit of Japan and the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan were considered, in particular, on active participation in international events held by the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI).
The delegation of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan visited the residence of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and met with the Department Head, Hirosawa Masayuki.
Hirosawa Masayuki noted that the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan has become a reliable partner in sustainable development, implementing social projects, and attracting foreign investment.
An agreement was reached to improve the qualifications of employees of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan at the Training Center of the Board of Audit of Japan.Then, members of the delegation of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan visited the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA) and the Annaka Training Center of the Board of Audit of Japan. They became familiar with the processes of teaching financial literacy, legal norms, fundamental and practical training, and standardization
.During the trip to Japan, an agreement was reached to expand cooperation with the Parliament and the Board of Audit of Japan within the framework of bilateral and international structures.
