WNAM REPORT: COP29 President-Designate, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev met with Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at Clarence House in London.
COP28 President, Sultan Al Jaber, and Brazil’s National Secretary for Climate Change, Ana Toni, also attended the meeting.
“The COP Presidencies Troika welcomed and were honoured to share the efforts being made to build on the momentum of the UAE Consensus and keep the 1.5 goal in reach with His Majesty, King Charles III,” the COP29 said on its official X account.
