ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Chairman Youth Committee Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engineer Usman Nawaz Basra, has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khame’nei. He stated that we pay tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei’s steadfastness and resistance. This tragic incident has not only grieved the Muslim Ummah but has also raised concerns about peace and stability in the region.
He said that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was an influential religious and political figure of the Muslim world, and his services will always be remembered. His martyrdom sends a message to those of weak faith that martyrdom does not occur in submission to oppression; a dignified Muslim always keeps his gaze fixed upon Almighty Allah.
He further remarked that such personalities continue to live in the pages of history even after their departure. May Allah Almighty grant acceptance to his struggle, his perseverance, and his martyrdom.
Meanwhile, President for Tourism for Interfaith Peace and Development and President of Lakeshore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, while expressing grave concern over the war situation in the Middle East, stated that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was a dignified, influential, and wise leader of the Muslim world, and his martyrdom is a great tragedy for the Muslim Ummah.
He said that Ayatollah Khamenei played an important role in safeguarding Iran’s sovereignty, national dignity, and Islamic values, and his martyrdom is an irreparable loss. He further stated that this aggression by the United States and Israel will have severe economic consequences for the entire world, particularly for the countries of the region.
As a result of the unjustified attacks, the entire region has been engulfed in war. Rising tensions in the Middle East will lead to a sharp increase in global oil prices, which will directly impact Pakistan as well.
He urged the international community to immediately play an effective role in securing a ceasefire in the region to prevent further loss of human lives and economic devastation.
