WNAM REPORT: The first forum of think tanks of South Korea and Central Asian countries has started in Tashkent.
The event, held at the International Institute for Central Asia, is dedicated to “Time for Change: A Look at the Future of Cooperation between Central Asia and South Korea”.It is attended by political scientists from strategic research institutes of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and South Korea, diplomats, employees of the Korean Cultural Center, and representatives of the intelligentsia.
Four main sessions will be held on mutually beneficial cooperation between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea for new geopolitical dynamics, restructuring global value chains and economic security, mutually beneficial cooperation in energy and minerals, combating climate change, a promising strategy for water security and sustainable water management, strategic mutual influence in the era of technological hegemony, a common approach to education in ICT and artificial intelligence.
