WNAM MONITORING: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to Kazakhstani students, who hauled four medals at the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It’s encouraging that Kazakhstan has been demonstrating high results at this prestigious competition for the third consecutive year. This year, you demonstrated a great level of knowledge as well, winning two gold, one silver and one bronze medals, reads the letter.
This achievement is a testimony to the competitiveness and high reputation of domestic education in international science, noted the Kazakh leader.
Clearly, much of the credit for this must go to your teachers and parents. I’m convinced that your victory will be a good start for your professional achievements for the benefit of our Kazakhstan, wrote Tokayev.
The Kazakh President wished the young talents new accomplishments in their pursuit of knowledge.
