WNAM MONITORING: There are currently 6,421,073 registered voters in Azerbaijan, according to Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Panahov mentioned that over 42,000 voters will participate in the snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories:
“There will be 54 polling stations, with 34 being permanent and 20 temporary. The number of temporary polling stations may be increased if necessary.”
A total of 321 international observers from 46 countries and 39 institutions have been registered.
The chairman also noted that 93,964 local observers have also been registered for the elections.
