WNAM MONITORING: Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to Arkadag City, where he held a meeting with relevant officials and reviewed infrastructure projects.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City extended congratulations to the National Leader of the Turkmen people on behalf of the city’s population for receiving three awards at the World Smart City Expo in the Republic of Korea.
At the Expo, Turkmenistan presented a pavilion showcasing Arkadag City’s innovative capabilities as a smart city. The event featured 116 pavilions, with representatives from over 60 countries participating as observers.
Arkadag City received three awards: “Outstanding Achievement in Smart City Development,” “Best Foreign Smart City,” and “Significant Contribution to the World Smart City Expo 2024.”
It was also noted that Arkadag City has received over 20 international certificates and awards.
Chairman Berdimuhamedov expressed his satisfaction with the achievements and congratulated the city’s population and leadership on this joyous occasion.
