WNAM REPORT: The Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan received textbooks on the Korean language as a gift.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the ceremony of handing over the books with the participation of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Ashgabat, headed by Ambassador Ji Kyu-Taek, was held on September 6.
The Director of the Innovation and Information Center Ch. Hanmuhammedov and the specialists of the center solemnly welcomed the Korean guests.
During the event, the parties discussed the state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
The Center for Access to Information, created with the assistance of the Republic of Korea, has been operating for several years on the basis of the Innovation and Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and actively promoting inclusive educational services in Turkmenistan.
The center offers free computer literacy courses for senior citizens and children with disabilities, organizes Korean language courses, and holds various events introducing residents of Turkmenistan to Korean culture.
The Information Access Center maintains close ties with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan, and the ceremony of donating Korean language textbooks once again demonstrates this fruitful cooperation, the source notes.
