WNAM MONITORING: A film by CBC TV, an international channel from Azerbaijan, has been nominated for a prize at a prestigious film festival in Amsterdam.
The film, The Hidden Heritage of Yerevan, was shot under the supervision of the CBC General Director Vugar Khalilov.

The CBC crew visited Yerevan and its neighborhoods where Azerbaijanis once lived.
In particular, filming was carried out on the territory where the Tepebashi mosque was once located and where Armenian families now live. It was found out that French and American investors are planning to demolish the remains of the mosque along with the neighborhood where Azerbaijanis used to live.
The CBC film crew also visited the house of Panakh Khan Makinski’s son, Alikhan, and filmed inside and outside the Blue Mosque in Yerevan. They also visited the village of Jafarabad, in Yerevan’s vicinity, where the Pir Huseyn mausoleum is located.
