RAWALPINDI( WNAM REPORT): The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) organized a symbolic solidarity walk to express its support for the people of Palestine, drawing attention to the ongoing human rights violations and occupation by Israel. The walk was led by President RCCI, Usman Shaukat, and Group Leader Sohail Altaf, with participation from Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Mr. Fahad Barlas, Former Presidents, EC members and various members of the RCCI.
The walk aimed to raise awareness about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and to urge the international community, particularly the United Nations, to take immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression. The participants emphasized the need for a ceasefire, peace, and the protection of human rights in the conflict-affected region.
Speaking on the occasion, RCCI President Usman Shaukat highlighted the importance of global solidarity for the oppressed people of Palestine. He urged international bodies to take concrete steps towards ending the violence and ensuring justice for those affected.
