ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): President of Tourism for Interfaith Peace & Development and President of Lake Shore Club, Syed Sadaat Hussain Shah, while speaking during the Expo organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Virginia, USA, said that the United States is one of Pakistan’s major trade partners, and the increase in bilateral trade will help strengthen Pakistan’s economy.
He emphasized that strong relations with the US are crucial for the promotion of exports, investment opportunities, and technology transfer. Terming the improvement in Pak US trade relations as a positive development, he appreciated the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to promote economic diplomacy, saying that such policies, if continued, would bring remarkable growth in industrial and trade activities in the near future. Sadaat Shah expressed hope that enhanced Pak–US relations will create new opportunities for Pakistani products in American markets, which will, in turn, strengthen both employment and the national economy.
