There is an old saying Don’t move ancient boundary fixed by your ancestors.
India in cahoots with Afghanistan has been trying since long to question the veracity of Durand line with the sole objective to destabilize Pakistan. In doing so it conveniently forgets that time has sanctified it and the successors of the Afghan leader in whose time it was fixed had also attested it. India should also not forget that suppose tomorrow China ,for instance ,starts questioning McMohan Line drawn by British colonialists demarcating India and China wouldn’t that put New Delhi in a very embarrassing position because what is sauce for goose is sauce for gander also.
Needless to add there is a great wisdom in the saying that ancient boundary fixed by ancestors shouldn’t be moved.
But for loyalty of rank and file tribesmen of FATA with Pakistan, the element propagating against the Durand line could not succeed in their motive. It is in the evidence that Kabul’s rulers bankrolled many leading tribal chieftains in the matter and allotted houses, fruit orchards to them in Afghanistan but since a majority of tribesmen didn’t give their ear to them they didn’t give their ear to them, questioning the veracity of Durand line the Indian propaganda failed.
