ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT): Tajikistan’s Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda arrived to attend the highly anticipated Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad. The distinguished guest landed at Islamabad International Airport, where he was greeted with a warm and ceremonious welcome.
Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan led the reception, along with senior government officials, who were present to receive the Tajik Prime Minister. As a gesture of goodwill, Minister Jam Kamal Khan presented a bouquet of flowers to Prime Minister Rasulzoda on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, underscoring the close diplomatic ties between the two nations.
A red carpet was rolled out in honor of the visiting dignitary, and children, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, waved the flags of both Pakistan and Tajikistan, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. The children’s participation symbolized the enduring friendship between the two countries and their shared aspirations for regional cooperation and prosperity.
Prime Minister Rasulzoda’s visit marks an important step in strengthening regional collaboration through the SCO, as member states focus on enhancing trade, economic development, and security in Central and South Asia.
The SCO summit in Islamabad is set to bring together several world leaders, and the participation of the Tajik leader is seen as a pivotal moment in fostering closer ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan, as well as promoting regional stability.
