WNAM REPORT: President Ersin Tatar stated that it was agreed that the next informal meeting with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will be held with the participation of Türkiye and Greece.
Tatar replied the questions of the AA correspondent at the press conference following the informal dinner he attended upon the invitation of Guterres at the UN Headquarters building.
Pointing out that the TRNC’s position has not changed, Tatar said, ‘I presented a new vision, yet efforts for a federal solution have failed for 50 years.

The President also stated that they decided to meet with the leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Christodoulidis to discuss the opening of new border gates, and that this will be realised if the demands are acceptable.
