Call it by whatever name you wish، artificial precipitation, cloud seeding or artificial rain, the CM Panjab has taken a very timely step by ordering for inducing artificial rain in Lahore as smog in the provincial metropolis has reached dangerous proportions badly affecting the health of Lahorites, besides, disturbing their daily chores.
Permanent solution of this problem will have to be put into effect like strict implementation of steps aimed at banning the use of goods that cause atmospheric pollution. Similar steps need to be initiated throughout all those big cities of the country where smog has reached dangerous proportions or nearing the dangerous limit.
