WNAM REPORT: Following the talks, Kazakh and Mongolian Heads of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh signed the Joint Declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership, as per reports.
Under the state visit of Kazakh leader Tokayev to Mongolia, the following documents were signed:
1. Agreement between the Kazakh and Mongolian governments on cooperation in the pension sphere;
2. Roadmap to boost trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Mongolia for 2025/27;
3. Agreement between the Kazakh and Mongolian governments on cooperation in the field of aviation search and rescue;
4. Memorandum on development of roads between the Transport Ministry of Kazakhstan and the Road and Transport Development Ministry of Mongolia;
5. Cooperation Plan between the Foreign Affairs Ministries of Kazakhstan and Mongolia for 2025/27;
6. Memorandum of cooperation in the field of culture between the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry and the Mongolian Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth;
7. Memorandum of cooperation in tourism between the Kazakh Tourism and Sport Ministry and the Mongolian Ministry of Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth;
8. Memorandum of cooperation between the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and the Mongolian Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Ministry;
9. Memorandum of mutual understanding between the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Kazakh Agriculture Ministry and Mongolia’s General Authority of Veterinary Service on cooperation in the field of veterinary service and quarantine;
10. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communication of Mongolia;
11. Memorandum of cooperation between the Energy Ministry of Kazakhstan and the Executive Office of the Nuclear Energy Commission of Mongolia in the field of nuclear energy.
Earlier it was reported that President Tokayev proposed to bring the Kazakh-Mongolian trade turnover to up to 500 million US dollars.
