Damascus: Students of the Syrian Science Olympiad and the National Center for Excellent won two bronze and silver medals and a certificate of appreciation at the International Scientific Physics Olympiad (ISPHO) of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
The Olympiad was organized virtually on December 5, 2023 with participation of 86 students from 24 countries.
Distinction and Creativity Agency said in statement that the students Anas Mayya, Bahaa Eddin Milhem and Mohammed al-Aqtaa harvested the bronze medal while Moufeed Jalkhi , Ziad Badlehm ,Mohammed Nader al-Dalati, Huda Jarbi , Majd Amer and Mohammed Ali won the bronze medal.
The Students Mahmoud Ibrahim won the certificate of appreciation.
The Olympiad aims at increasing the interest of school students in in-depth study of physics and providing the participants a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in solving and modeling theoretical and experimental problems.
