WNAM MONITORING: Turkmen entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the upcoming international Halal Expo 2024, taking place in Istanbul from November 15 to 17, as announced by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on Wednesday.
This event will serve as a vital platform for promoting halal products and enhancing international trade. Halal Expo 2024 will bring together business representatives, industry experts, and policymakers from around the globe to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the halal market. Attendees can expect a diverse range of sectors represented, including certified halal food and beverages, Turkmenistan’s rich textile and garment heritage, halal-compliant cosmetics, medical goods and services, as well as tourism offerings that align with halal principles.
The expo organizers plan the event with the support of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and in accordance with the Standards and Metrology for Islamic Countries (SMIIC). This gathering represents a significant international platform for developing trade relations in halal products and services.
Last year, the Halal Expo attracted over 30,000 representatives from more than 100 countries. The program facilitated over 2,000 business meetings, underscoring the event’s effectiveness in advancing international trade.
