WNAM MONITORING: Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ratifying the agreement between governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of ecology and protection of the environment.
Earlier the Head of State inked the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ratify the agreement on biological material transfer.
The law sets out the requirements for laboratory studies and movement of biological material. It also establishes the legal framework for employees of national agencies to prevent diseases. It is expected that the law will increase the efficiency of the fight against mass diseases among animals at the regional level.
