( WNAM REPORT): Uzbekistan became an official party to the “Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific”, the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade said.
Thhe Agreement, adopted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in 2016, is aimed at creating conditions for the mutual recognition of electronic trade documents and increasing the compatibility of national and subregional systems.
The document will take effect for Uzbekistan on February 3, 2025. To date, 14 countries have officially joined this agreement.
