WNAM MONITORING: The unique style of Uzbek national clothing under the Miras by Banu brand was demonstrated at the Golden Grace international fashion show in Frankfurt am Main.
The event, organized with the support of Germany’s Fusion Design, took place in the exhibition space The Square, located on the territory of the city’s largest international airport.
More than 400 guests attended the event, among whom were famous designers, cultural and art figures, bloggers, photographers, and representatives of the European fashion industry. 15 talented designers from France, Germany, Spain, Ukraine, Greece, Uzbekistan, and Latvia presented fashion trends. Uzbekistan became the only Asian country taking part in the show and demonstrated its collections for the third time.
The guests were presented with a colorful collection reflecting the aesthetics of handmade work and exquisite ornaments of Uzbek fabrics. Special attention was placed on the historical legacy of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan located along the Great Silk Road, which are famous for their unique fabrics worldwide.
The demonstration of national costumes aroused keen interest among the foreign public in Uzbek culture. The event received comprehensive coverage in the local media, highlighting Uzbek design’s growing popularity.
Following the results of their participation in the Golden Grace, Uzbekistan designers were invited to participate in the Modenschau 2025, to be held in May next year. This opens up new prospects for promoting Uzbek fashion in the international arena.
