WNAM REPORT: The opening of the Uzbekistan Culture Days in Russia took place in the Moscow Kremlin. This event is an essential milestone in strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and a symbol of friendship and cooperation.
The Russian public had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage and get acquainted with its centuries-old traditions, modern achievements, and artistic originality.
The central moment of the evening was a concert with the participation of outstanding figures of the arts of Uzbekistan. People’s Artists Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Farrukh Zakirov, Gulsanam Mamazoitova, Aygul Nodirova, Honored Artists Ozoda Nursaidova and Ilyos Arabov, the winner of the project “Voice. Children” Sabina Mustayeva performed on stage. The State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan and the State Dance Ensemble “Bakhor” named after Mukarram Turgunbayeva also presented their program.
First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Avazkhan Tadjikhanov noted that the Uzbekistan Culture Days in Russia will emphasize the country’s openness to new opportunities and the desire to continue cultural dialogue based on mutual respect and support.“Today, we celebrate a wonderful holiday – a holiday of friendship. Taking this opportunity, we want to share the wealth of our people and the peculiarities of our national culture. Uzbek music, dances, and crafts resonate in the hearts of Russian friends, and Russian literature, art, and scientific achievements inspire the Uzbek people”, the Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, head of the “Yalla” ensemble Farrukh Zakirov said.
