ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): OGDCL has announced the successful completion of the Staff Learning & Skill Development Program Batch-2 for the “Welder & Electrician (Power)” trades, conducted in collaboration with NAVTTC Islamabad. This two-month program, started on September 30, 2024, trained 47 non-management employees, equipping them with advanced technical expertise to excel in their respective fields.
At a special event organized by OGTI, shields were awarded to the participants in recognition of their achievements. The event was attended by MD/CEO Ahmed Hayat Lak, ED (HR/Admin), the Chairperson of NAVTTC, and other dignitaries.
The event also featured an impressive demonstration of IoT-based industrial automation systems, featuring innovative applications in motors, control systems, and the Christmas tree model.
Building on the success of previous programs in trades such as Electrician (Power), Welding, and HVACR, this initiative underscores OGDCL’s commitment to workforce development and professional excellence.
