WNAM MONITORING: Approximately 3,000 people have already nominated their candidacies for the municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025, in Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Mazahir Panahov, told journalists.
He mentioned that steps are being taken in accordance with the calendar plan:
“We have 685 municipalities, and 8,071 municipal members will be elected across the country. According to the information I have, there are already about 3,000 candidates. Their registration has already begun.”
