WNAM REPORT: Uzbekistan Airways and Malaysia Airlines have announced the restoration of their codeshare partnership, which expands travel opportunities and opens up new destinations for passengers in Southeast and Central Asia.
Uzbekistan Airways noted that this decision reflects the desire of the airlines of the two countries to provide convenient travel conditions and strengthen their route networks in response to the growing demand for international transportation.
As part of the renewed agreement, Malaysia Airlines introduces its flight code MH on the Tashkent – Kuala Lumpur route, served by Uzbekistan Airways, which marks its entry into the Central Asian market. This step provides Malaysia Airlines passengers with a direct connection to the region.At the same time, Uzbekistan Airways is expanding its flight map by adding the flight code HY to selected routes operated by Malaysia Airlines. It will be possible to easily reach popular resort destinations such as Langkawi and Kota Kinabalu via Kuala Lumpur, which will open up the opportunity to explore the landscapes and attractions of Southeast Asia.
