WNAM REPORT: The book “The Phenomenon of Shavkat Mirziyoyev” published in Baku attracted the attention of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia.
The book was presented to the President of Uzbekistan by the Azerbaijani poet and literary scholar Akif Bagirov (also known under the pseudonym Akif Azalp) during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan to participate in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29).The Union of Writers of Azerbaijan organized a presentation of this collection of journalistic essays, selected from the works of political scientist Qudratilla Rafiqov “Mening Prezidentim” (“My President”) and “Millatparvar” (“Patriot”), at the National Library named after M.F. Akhundov. The publication covers the key reforms and changes taking place in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.The event brought together members of the Azerbaijani parliament, writers, poets, members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, and representatives of the intelligentsia and the public.At the presentation, it was emphasized that thanks to the political will and close friendly relations of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan has reached a new level. This contributes to strengthening the political system, economic and cultural improvement of the fraternal peoples.
