WNAM REPORT: Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt assumed his duties as Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM). He took a detailed briefing apropos the existing pro-poor welfare projects of the organization while chairing a meeting with the officers, here in PBM Head office.
Managing Director PBM Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, while appreciating the poor-friendly initiatives of the organization, expressed his determination that PBM, in coming days, will carry out its responsibilities more efficiently to eradicate poverty from the country.
He further remarked that being the head of a well-known and prime public welfare organization of the country is a matter of honor as well as a great responsibility for me.
“In order to fulfill the trust that the Prime Minister of Pakistan has shown me by entrusting me with this important position, I am committed to serve the poor and deprived people across the country.”, the Managing Director added. He also issued the directions for implementing an inclusive strategy to protect the poor populace from the vicious cycle of poverty.
