WNAM REPORT: The Centre for Languages and Translation Studies at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) organized a comprehensive training workshop titled Tools & Techniques for Research. The event aimed to enhance the technical and academic skills of researchers and academics, enabling them to tackle modern research challenges effectively.
Mr. Najeeb Rehman, Assistant Professor at the University of Gujrat, served as the resource person for the workshop. He delivered an in-depth, hands-on session focusing on advanced research tools such as Mendeley, EndNote, and Bitsoftware. These tools, essential for citation management, bibliographic organization, and collaborative academic work, were demonstrated with practical examples, giving participants an opportunity to enhance their research workflows.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the Director of the Centre for Languages and Translation Studies. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of such training workshops in fostering a culture of research excellence and innovation in academia.
