WNAM REPORT: First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akan Rakhmetulin received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Kazakhstan, Han Chunlin.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the issues of the Kazakh-Chinese cooperation and exchanged opinions on the prospects for its further development.
The parties reviewed the schedule of the bilateral visits and events at the high and highest levels scheduled for 2025. Special attention was given to the countries’ interaction within multilateral structures.
Upon completion of the meeting, the sides agreed to maintain regular contacts between the two countries’ foreign ministries on the pressing issues of the Kazakh-Chinese interaction.
Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan handed over 2nd Degree Dostyk Order to the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Zhang Xiao.
