WNAM REPORT: Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtayev met with the Coordinator General of COMSTECH, the Standing Committee of Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iqbal Choudhary, in Pakistan.
The parties discussed the prospects for enhancing cooperation in the scientific and technological fields and implementing mutually beneficial projects and initiatives.
The Coordinator General of COMSTECH highly appreciated Uzbekistan’s recent achievements in developing science and innovative technologies and their direct application in the national economy. He acknowledged that all this results from the reforms carried out by the Head of state in education and innovative development.
It was decided to organize international events dedicated to the contribution of great thinkers of Uzbekistan to the development of science, study and promote their scientific heritage, jointly organize international competitions and Olympiads in astronomy, geography, and physics, and develop grant programs for students and researchers.
