WNAM REPORT: The USAID Youth Development Activity (YDA) and the POE “School of Entrepreneurs” of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan announce the call for applications to participate in a youth entrepreneurship development program.

The program’s goal is to equip young people with practical knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship necessary for successfully starting and growing their businesses. It is designed to promote youth entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan.

Participants will take entrepreneurship courses combining theoretical and practical sessions, covering topics such as fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business idea development, business planning, marketing and sales, legal aspects of entrepreneurship, financial planning and management. Additionally, participants will receive consultations from national consultants and experienced entrepreneurs. The program will conclude with a business project competition organized by the USAID YDA in collaboration with the POE “School of Entrepreneurs” of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. Participants will present their business projects, which will be developed during the program, and a panel of judges will identify the best projects. Winners may gain access to mentoring, investment opportunities, or other support to bring their ideas to life.

The program will be implemented at the branches of the School of Entrepreneurs in Ashgabat and all provinces.

The program will be held in the period of February to April 2025.

Residents of Turkmenistan aged 18 to 28 who wish to engage in entrepreneurial activity are eligible to apply.

Participants will be selected through a competitive process.

Participation in the program is free of charge.

To apply, please complete the application form using this link before 14:00 January 30 2025.
