ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): A delegation from the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), led by President Usman Shaukat and accompanied by Group Leader Sohail Altaf, attended a pivotal meeting of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The meeting was chaired by the Director General (DG) SIFC and was also attended by representatives of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
The meeting focused extensively on key development projects in the Rawalpindi region, including the development of the Industrial Estate Rawat, construction of a connecting road to enhance accessibility, and the establishment of economic zones around the Rawalpindi Ring Road. Discussions also covered the construction industry package aimed at boosting economic growth and facilitating investment.
DG SIFC assured the RCCI delegation of unwavering support for the development of Rawat Industrial Estate and issued directives to the RDA to expedite necessary measures. He emphasized that under the mandate of SIFC, all possible facilities will be extended to local investors, including safeguarding their interests and supporting the business community to restore confidence and drive investment in the country.
The RCCI delegation expressed gratitude for the proactive approach of SIFC and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of these development initiatives.
