WNAM REPORT: Within the framework of the development of cultural cooperation between the two countries, Türkiye intends to open a cultural center named after Yunus Emre in Turkmenistan in 2025. This was announced by the Ambassador of Turkey to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok in an interview with the publication “Atavatan Turkmenistan”.
According to the diplomat, the eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation will be held in Ankara in the first quarter of this year. The meeting will present a roadmap for bilateral cooperation with a special focus on the economic and trade spheres.
Demirok emphasized that relations between the countries are built on close interaction and mutual respect between the leaders and peoples of the two states. It is expected that 2025 will be full of mutual visits by representatives of both countries, and the Ministries of Foreign Affairs will continue active consultations on the development of bilateral relations.
The Yunus Emre Cultural Center is an international organization represented in many countries around the world and aimed at promoting Turkish culture and strengthening cultural ties between countries.
