New Medical Requirements Introduced for Pilgrims Traveling to Saudi Arabia

WNAM MONITORING: The Turkmenistan airlines announced new medical requirements for pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia for Umrah or Hajj.

According to the updates, travelers are required to provide certificates of vaccination against poliovirus, meningococcal meningitis, and yellow fever, as stated in a press release from the airline.

Details of the requirements are available on the website of the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, the Administration of the Mufti of Turkmenistan, headed by Yalkap Hojagulyyev, and the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, signed an agreement for conducting Hajj in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
