WNAM MONITORING: President – Commander-in-Chief of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Defense Minister Ruslan Zhakssykykov.
The latter reported on the Ministry’s activities in 2024, combat readiness, and new approaches for military training.
He also briefed on the development of the state defense order, social and ideological activities, and the development of the military infrastructure.
Following the meeting, the Head of State set specific tasks to raise the army’s combat potential, to further management digitalization, to develop special operation forces, and to strengthen social and ideological activities.
It was reported earlier, President Tokayev tasked the Cabinet to focus on tourism sector development.
