WNAM REPORT: The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Moscow received three high-ranking diplomats on courtesy visits: Ambassador of Finland M. Liivalu, Ambassador of Israel S. Galperin and Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Djibouti H.S. Moussa. This was reported by the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Russia.
During the meetings, the diplomats discussed a wide range of issues of international cooperation, paying special attention to the development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres. Representatives of diplomatic missions familiarized themselves with the priority areas of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, including inter-parliamentary cooperation, transport, energy and water diplomacy.
A separate topic of the talks was the discussion of the program of events within the framework of the “International Year of Peace and Trust” initiated by Turkmenistan, as well as the upcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality. The parties also considered the prospects for strengthening cooperation both at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations.
