WNAM REPORT: Addressing the Digital Almaty 2025 Forum Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said the AI contributions to the global economy is projected to reach some 20 trillion US dollars by 2030.
He said the AI may provide annual GDP growth by 2-3% and the EAEU countries should take advantage of this opportunity to develop national economies.
The Prime Minister reminded the Head of State initiated creating an ecosystem of competencies at the ground of the Alem.ai international AI center. It wil open this year in Astana. it will let bring together leading IT companies, research laboratories, startups and educational programs for the joint development of solutions. He also called on the EAEU countries to join hands to develop joint AI projects at the basis of the Alem.ai center.
He added Kazakhstan sets an ambitious task to train 1 million people in Kazakhstan the AI within five years.
As earlier reported, the Artificial Intelligence Institute established at the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University together with the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) offers 100 educational grants.
