ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT):  PBF International College successfully organized its annual Sports Gala Festival at the Sports Complex Islamabad, bringing together students, faculty, and distinguished guests to celebrate sportsmanship and healthy competition.

The event was graced by Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, Secretary Workers Welfare Fund, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Mr. Zafar Bakhtwari, CEO of D-Watson Group of Pakistan, and Mrs. Shaista Mohsin, CEO of SOS Foundation Islamabad.

The Principal of PBF International College, Mrs. Saira Mohsin, warmly welcomed all the esteemed guests and extended her heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the college management.

In his opening remarks, Secretary Workers Welfare Fund, Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, congratulated the college management for organizing such a well-coordinated and inspiring event. He emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in students’ lives, stating that such initiatives not only promote physical fitness but also strengthen their academic capabilities.

He further highlighted the Workers Welfare Fund’s commitment to supporting the education of workers’ children, ensuring they have access to quality educational opportunities. He reiterated the Government of Pakistan’s dedication to promoting education and acknowledged the Workers Welfare Fund’s significant contributions toward this national goal.

At the conclusion of the event, Secretary Workers Welfare Fund, Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad, distributed medals among the winning students who excelled in various sports competitions. He encouraged all the participants, especially the winners, to continue striving for excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities.

The Sports Gala Festival 2025 was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of teamwork, discipline, and enthusiasm among students.
