The interlocutors examined prospects for expanding the legal framework for cooperation and outlined steps to deepen their partnership.
The European Union emphasized the importance of areas such as security, transport, energy, and sustainable development in the context of cooperation with Central Asia.
In 2025, Ashgabat will host a series of international events aimed at further developing political and economic interaction with the European Union. These events include the next meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue, the 20th meeting of foreign ministers from Central Asian countries and the European Union, and the visit of European Commissioner for International Partnerships Jutta Urpilainen to Turkmenistan.
