WNAM REPORT: On February 11, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a group of experts from the International Advisory Council, including Alfred Gusenbauer, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, and Štefan Füle.
The meeting focused on current issues related to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at providing expert support for the implementation of the reform strategy in New Uzbekistan and expanding multifaceted collaboration with the countries and institutions of the European Union.The importance of practical interaction in studying and implementing advanced international experience and attracting technologies and investments for the modernization of industries and sectors of the country’s economy was emphasized.
An exchange of views took place on international and regional agendas in the context of preparations for the upcoming “EU – Central Asia” summit in Samarkand.
