WNAM REPORT: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Japan Yerlan Baudarbek-Kozhatayev met with Ichiro Takahara, President of the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy (JOGMEC).
The Ambassador focused on the implementation of the Unified Industrialization Map during the meeting, as well as the pool of investment projects of the “Tau-Ken Samruk” national mining company.
Ichiro Takahara noted the high potential for increasing cooperation in the industrial sector and expressed interest in strengthening the mutually beneficial collaboration between Kazakhstan and Japanese companies.
Following the meeting, the parties approved a joint algorithm of actions for the near future. The Japanese side was also informed of the measures of state support and tax preferences in the field of subsoil use for foreign companies investing in Kazakhstan.
