WNAM MONITORING: Following the talks between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif signed a Joint Declaration and Protocol on establishment of bilateral High Council for Strategic Partnership, aimed at “further developing and strengthening the Uzbek-Pakistani relations of multifaceted cooperation.
Afterwards the two leaders oversaw the signing of a number of documents:
- Agreement on cooperation in science, technology and innovation;
- Agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic passports;
- Agreement on cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of vocational education;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of youth policy;
- Agreement on cooperation between national news agencies;
- Agreements and arrangements on cooperation between diplomatic academies, the cities of Tashkent and Lahore, and others.
