WNAM MONITORING: An event dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev was held.
At the event, which was attended by the Military Institute’s leadership, professors and teaching staff, officers and cadets, as well as other guests, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The speakers at the ceremony highlighted the history of the establishment of the military educational institution and the ways of its development. It was noted that the military institute plays an invaluable role in the training of educated, capable and patriotic officers.
The speakers also emphasized the examples of courage and heroism shown by graduates of the Military Institute in the battles for the freedom of Azerbaijani lands, and noted that the educational institution still educates the youth by providing them with knowledge and instilling a sense of patriotism.
It was noted that after the return to power of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, attention increased to all spheres in Azerbaijan, including science and education. As a result of the successful reforms carried out in the field of education under the leadership of the President of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of the National Leader, all conditions meeting modern standards have been created for cadets to comprehend military knowledge.
During the event, a video dedicated to the path of the Military Institute aroused great interest.
Patriotic music was performed by the military orchestra and the Hazi Aslanov Army Ideological and Cultural Center.
In the end, a group of personnel who distinguished themselves in military service and studies was awarded.
