Jakarta ( WNAM MONITORING): The Ministry of Creative Economy has introduced an incubation program to help creative economy players expand their market reach.
“We are committed to advancing this industry so that the national economy can grow stronger,” the ministry’s media creativity deputy, Agustini Rahayu, said here on Wednesday.
She explained that within the creative economy sub-sectors, particularly the music industry, the ministry will provide incubation support — ranging from content creation to commercialization.
To promote their products, creative economy players can leverage various media platforms, including radio, television, print magazines, and digital technology.
The Ministry of Creative Economy is also collaborating with state-owned radio station RRI to develop technology that can market creative economy products, including those from the music industry, to enhance their competitiveness.
“Of course, we are also creating various market opportunities. Therefore, we must continue to adapt to technological advancements,” she emphasized.
Furthermore, the ministry is also supporting the Music Preneur program initiated by RRI to recognize musicians, composers, sound engineers, backstage crews, and everyone involved in the production of a work.
Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, encouraged creative economy players to take advantage of this initiative to foster coordination and communication within the music industry, ultimately helping Indonesian music gain global recognition.
To support this effort, the ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding with RRI on creative economy advertising to improve the ecosystem and protection of workers in the 17 sub-sectors of the creative economy it oversees.
