WNAM REPORT: Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov called on the Federal Minister for Petroleum of Pakistan Ali Pervaiz Malik.
During the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated Ali Pervaiz Malik on his recent appointment and expressed confidence in further growth of Pakistan’s energy sector under his leadership.
The parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of energy, including joint projects and opportunities for developing mutually beneficial initiatives. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan briefed the Minister about the progress of the TAPI (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India) gas pipeline construction in Afghanistan.
The parties stressed the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries, given the significant potential for cooperation in the field of energy.
