WNAM REPORT: Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on his birthday.
The head of Turkmenistan turned 44 on September 22.

You recently visited China and participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and the commemorative celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and Victory in World War II. We held a meeting during which we had an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral cooperation in various areas and reached a broad consensus, identifying areas for further strengthening the traditional friendship and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
I attach great importance to the development of Chinese-Turkmen relations and am ready to make joint efforts to advance the construction of a Community of Shared Future for the benefit of our peoples.
